Yorkshire Coast Gardening Services is a partnership of two experienced local gardeners. We’ve each spent years working coast gardens on our own — and combined we’ve got decades on the tools. In 2026 we put our names together to start doing it as a proper small team.
Why two of us — and what we promise.
We kept bumping into each other at the same gates — one of us finishing a fortnightly cut as the other pulled up for a hedge run. Eventually it stopped making sense to keep working solo. So we pooled our kit, our regulars, and our standards: a proper second pair of hands for the jobs that need them, better cover when one of us is off, and the same familiar faces at your gate every visit.
We’re local. We live the same patch we work — Scarborough out to Whitby, plus the inland villages we grew up in. Most of our customers are within a ten-minute drive of one of us, and we like it that way.
And we take real pride in every garden we touch. Same gardener every visit. Written quote before any tools come out. Photos when the work’s done. Greenwaste taken away and disposed of properly. Honest pricing, no auto-renewals, no hidden fees. If it’s not right, we come back and put it right — at no cost.
Between us we’re NPTC-qualified for tree and hedge work, RHS members, fully insured to £5 million, and both DBS-checked.
